Inheritance in Spain, how do I obtain it?

A client of mine living in Benidorm recently inherited a flat in Malaga and he asked me if he had to visit a lawyer in Malaga in order to accept an Inheritance in Spain.
The simple answer to this enquiry is: NO.
A lawyer in Spain local to where you live can do all the necessary work for you to ensure that you receive your inheritance. So, you do not need to look for a Spanish lawyer located near where the deceased died. That is unnecessary – your own local lawyer can undertake all the work required.
