
Selling your property in Spain, more costs soon!

If you are planning to sell or rent your property in Spain, be aware that the Spanish Government plans to approve, this month, a law which will require Spanish vendors or landlords to give to purchasers or tenants an ‘Energy Certificate’. To obtain this will be relatively expensive and will add to the overall costs of selling a property in Spain or renting a property here.
There are some cases where the Energy Certificate will not be required, for example, for protected buildings and those buildings built after 2007
