Urbanisation Charges in Valencia Province

The Town Hall of Barx in Valencia Province is urbanizing some streets and is sending urbanisation charges to the neighbourhood which includes some property owners in La Drova.

If you have been notified of these charges, then you need to know that the total amount will need to be paid in instalments.

As some of my clients are having problems meeting these instalments, I contacted Ms Maria Elena Tellechea, who is the first deputy mayor of Barx to find a solution for them.

I have to say that the Deputy Mayor was very reasonable and easy to talk to. She was, of course, aware of the difficulties but she confirmed that, unfortunately, once the Town Hall notifies property owners that a payment is due then the neighbours only have two months to make the payment – as the company in charge of the urbanization works needs to be paid.

Be aware that if you do not meet these payments, the Town Hall can place a charge on your property!
